Lavender tea, on the other hand, helps to reduce the inflammation in your blood vessels and has been found to be one of the most effective natural remedies for relieving stress and anxiety-induced headaches. Apart from drinking the tea, you can also cover your eyes with hot packs filled with dried lavender to relieve your headache as soon as it starts.

If you want to make a combo tea that’ll chase that headache away, steep a pinch of cayenne pepper, 1 teaspoon of dried peppermint and 1 inch of fresh ginger in 2 cups of boiling water for about 15 minutes, then drink it.

Speaking of teas, caffeine is a paradox when it comes to headaches. Drinking too much could cause a headache while drinking a little after the onset of a headache could help you ease the pain.
