Court orders NDLEA to leave Buruji Kashamu's residence

Justice Ibrahim Buba of a Federal High Court Lagos has ordered the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) officers to vacate the property of embattled Senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu in Lekki, Lagos. Justice Buba, while presiding over the case filed by counsel to Kashamu, said the NDLEA need to right away vacate the residence and maintain status quo.

NDLEA had placed Buruji Kashamu on house arrest since Saturday May 23rd after unable to arrest him. The Senator-elect is needed in the US over supposed drug charges.
