Damilola Adegbite, a renowned Nigerian actress, has disclosed the reasons behind the breakdown of her marriage to her Ghanaian counterpart, Chris Attoh.
It is worth noting that Damilola and Chris, who crossed paths while working on the television series ‘Tinsel’, tied the knot privately in Ghana in 2015 after welcoming a son together in 2014.
The couple went their separate ways in September 2017. During a conversation with popular media personality Chude Jideonwo, Damilola explained that her marriage ended because “love alone is insufficient.”
She expressed, “Love is just one aspect you require when considering spending your life with someone. However, it does not encompass everything.”
The actress stated that she does not have any regrets about divorcing her ex-husband.
She emphasized that the only regard she holds for Chris Attoh is that he is the father of her son.
