Ibrahim Ademola Fashola, the younger brother of Minister for Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Raji Fashola, who in 2016 survived a gas explosion has taken to social media to thank God for the gift of life.
He shared a before and after picture of him on Twitter with the caption: “1 year 10 months #Grateful #BurnsSurvivor LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE (A lot).”
He shared the same tweet on his Instagram handle with the caption:
“#Grateful In the blink of an eye, everything can change. So forgive often, and love hard. You never know when you will not have the chance again. #Alhamdullilahi #BurnsSurvivor.”

#Alhamdullahi #TheGiftOfHealing. #BurnsSurvivor. I woke up today reflecting on the journey I have been on so far. I didn’t choose it, but I have learnt to embrace it. I documented many parts of my treatment in the last year and 10months. (a lot of pics are too gory to post). It hasn’t been easy but I am happy to be alive. #StillHealing #MelaninePopping #LiveLaughLove
