A Facebook user identified as Benjamin Amaechi, has taken to the platform to report how suspected herdsmen attacked and almost killed a young pregnant woman in Yogbo town in Makurdi, the Benue state capital on Sunday evening.
According to the post, the attackers used sticks to pierce through the pregnant woman’s private part and then pulled out the child from her womb and beat her mercilessly.
When soldiers got to the scene, they discovered the woman was still alive and immediately rushed her to Bishop Murray Hospital for treatment.
