Jealous boyfriend kills self, girlfriend in house fire

A man identified as Billy Hicks suspected of killing himself in a house fire in which two others died is believed to have acted out of jealousy.

According to report, the man allegedly stabbed his lover and then set fire to the house in the early hours of New Year’s Day in a Lincolnshire village.

He is alleged to have shouted ‘no one else will have you’ before launching the attack at 3am in Kirton.

Police are now looking into whether there was a love triangle as claimed but confirmed that a woman, 27, and two men, 24 and 32, died in the fire.
