Parents of two welcomed Quintuplets after suffering four miscarriages and the death of preemie twins

A family has welcomed quintuplets after suffering four miscarriages and the death of their twins born prematurely.

Amy Kempel, from Mountain House, California, gave birth to Lincoln, Noelle, Grayson, Preston, and Gabriella in January this year after a desperate insurance battle that saw her and her husband Chad seeking out a specialized doctor to ensure a safe delivery.

Chad and Amy, who were 36 and 34 when their quintuplets were born, feared the high-risk pregnancy would end in heartbreak without the proper care. Though their pleas went unanswered, Amy delivered the three boys and two girls at 27 weeks on January 11 at an in-network hospital, and the parents told Daily Mail Online at the time that the babies were all healthy and in stable condition.

Four months later, the proud parents have celebrated the quintuplets’ arrival into the family thanks to a joint photo session.

The five babies’ older sisters, Savannah, three, and Avery, almost two, posed for one shot next to Amy and Chad, who each held two of the newborns. Savannah cradled the fifth quintuplet while Avery flashed a bright smile at the camera, just like her parents.

Another touching snap sees Amy leaning above the five babies nestled against one another, each wrapped in a blanket.
