The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan has signed the Administration of Criminal Justice Bill 2015 into law. The bill is to address the problem of delayed criminal trials.
The President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati confirmed the signing of the bill today to journalists in Abuja.
“The president has signed the Administration of Criminal Justice Bill 2015. He signed it the same day he received it from the National Assembly. With that development, the bill is now an Act” Abati said.
