Stop relying on your boyfriends for money and start working: Phyna advises Nigerian women.

Phyna, the winner of BBNaija, recently urged women to strive for financial independence rather than relying on men for their financial and other needs. In a viral video, she advised ladies to seek assistance from their family members instead of solely depending on their boyfriends. Phyna emphasized the importance of working hard and making their own money. Despite not having a wealthy father, she shared that she has been self-sufficient since her school days. She encouraged women to abandon the pursuit of an easy and dependent lifestyle, and instead, take control of their finances and pave their own way.

She said:

“I don’t expect money from any man, I’ve been hustling for myself since secondary school. My father is still alive, he’s not rich, and that is why I have to work hard to sustain myself. No woman should expect a soft life from men, you have to hustle to cater for yourself, but if he’s capable of giving you money, you can take it and enjoy it with him.”
