This 3-year-old girl kidnapped in Anambra has been rescue by the police

A 3-year-old abducted by “unknown persons” has been rescued by the Anambra State Police Command. 

The little girl who was allegedly trafficked in Ukpor was rescued in Osumeyi, Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State on Tuesday November 5. Family members or relatives of the abducted girl have been directed to report to the nearest police station to identify her. 

A statement issued by the command’s spokesman Haruna Muhammed reads in part;

“A girl of about 3 years old was allegedly trafficked in Ukpor but rescued in Osumeyi, Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State on the 5/11/2019.

“Anyone with useful information about the child should report at the nearest Police Station or contact PPRO Anambra State Police Command headquarters Awka through GSM no 08060970639, please.”
