Pain o Soma is a muscle relaxant that stops the brain from receiving pain signals from the nerves. Along with rest and physical therapy, medications are used to treat skeletal muscle diseases, including pain or injury. You shouldn’t use Soma if you have porphyria, an enzyme disorder with symptoms affecting the nervous system or skin, or if you have an allergic reaction to carisoprodol or meprobamate. Carisoprodol may enter breast milk and induce drowsiness in a nursing baby. If your child is being breastfed, let your doctor know. Soma is not allowed to be consumed by anyone under the age of 16. Older people may be more adversely affected by the drug’s side effects. – Pillspalace
