This means that anyone who searches for pornographic content can find it without much of a hassle. If you are a parent looking to shield your teens from pornographic content, then all you need to do is keep an eye out for a few signs that clearly reveal that your youngsters are already addicted to porn, or are on the track for becoming addicted to it.

Increased Pop-ups

Pop-up ads are nothing new, but they rarely show up during your internet use. However, if you suddenly realize that the number of pop-up ads has increased, then it could be because of your child looking at porn. Most of the pornographic websites feature pop-up advertisements which is a great way for them to earn some money, but it’s also a great way for you to know if your kids are becoming porn addicts. It’s natural for kids to be curious or careless, and therefore make their way to a porn site, but the real problem begins when all they do is look at porn. This is where you need to step in and deal with the matter.

Staring at Desktop

If you walk in your kids’ room and they’re just sitting there looking at their desktop wallpaper, then it’s safe to assume that they were watching porn. Furthermore, if you notice sudden movements when you enter your kids’ room, then that’s also a sign that they were looking at porn. As mentioned above, teenagers are naturally curious and will look at porn, but you have to keep tabs on them so they won’t get addicted to it.

Secretive/Defensive

Kids are very expressive and rarely think twice before voicing an options. If you feel that your children are doing the complete opposite of that and have become rather secretive, then the chances are they have started to look at porn more often than they should. They end up becoming more secretive and tend to act defensively in almost every scenario. Furthermore, they will keep themselves locked into their rooms. This is one of the biggest signs of your kid over-indulging in porn.

Browsing History

If any of the aforementioned signs aren’t present, then it could be because your children have become pretty confident about the whole thing and don’t feel scared of getting caught. This is where you will need to check their browsing history. This of course won’t be an easy task because kids nowadays always keep their devices with them. Here you could seek help from monitoring apps that allow you to keep check on almost all the online activities of your kids.
