People’s Democratic Party (PDP), House of Representatives aspirant for Etsako Federal Constituency, Edo State Dr. Blessing Agbomhere, has deem it fit to celebrate his birthday with nursing mothers, the sick and those in Prison.
The lovely birthday which started with a thanksgiving on Sunday at City Gate Church, Benin City, presided over by Prophet (Dr.) Ojo Omo-Agge was rounded off by Blessing Agbomhere supporters and well-wishers in a reception hosted by Prophet Ojo Omo-Agge and chaired by Chief(Mrs) Dr. Evelyn Igbafe at the City Gate Conference Hall.
Of paramount importance was how the celebrant visited Okpella Maternity in Okugbe, Notre Dam and General Hospital in Agenebode, Fugar Maternity in Unone, Ogbona Maternity in Ogbona, Jattu Maternity and Notre Dam Hospital in Jattu and Afashio, Ibienafe Maternity and the Auchi Prisons where he gave out family pack of powder peak milk, milo, glucose, golden morn cereal, tissue papers, detergents and soaps, paid the hospital bills of those who were detained in the hospital after their inability to pay their discharge cost after successful delivery and gave most of them upkeep money in cash.
In conclusion, he rounded off the visitation at the Auchi Prisons which has almost 400 Inmates. He donated clothes and shoes to the inmates after prayers; and encouraged them that imprisonment is not a death sentence but a moment of reformation for re-launching, and thus inspire them to learn new values and ideas which they will launch when they gain freedom.
